The Center required expansion to accommodate its growing conventions. The expansion design meets LEED certification through siting; landscaping; water conservation; high-recycled, locally-derived, multi-function and low-emitting materials; energy-conserving lighting, and HVAC systems; and water-saving plumbing fixtures.
