Marsh USA, an international insurance company, was seeking a new brand image different from its traditional identity. In response, EDA created an interior design that was modern and sophisticated in spirit, using open planning to create a space that was both unified and expansive. In addition to designing the high-efficiency lighting scheme, EDA also designed a fully integrated audio-visual system that allows video/teleconferencing, multi-media presentation capabilities, fiber-optic data distribution and internet access. To create a warm and inviting environment, EDA extensively used natural materials, including woods from sustainably managed forests, locally quarried stones, natural fabrics and linoleum.
