Burke Cartwright

Turns Visions into Reality

Over his 30 years as Designer and Principal in Charge at EDA, Burke has developed and refined a method to draw out the details of his clients' vision so he completely understands their goals and needs, which he then translates into a thorough, comprehensive design. Burke is relentless in ensuring his designs are also functional, meeting the day-to-day needs of his clients. When not contemplating the philosophies of design, Burke enjoys working to perfect his back cast while fishing.

Originally from California, Burke moved to Utah to attend the Graduate School of Architecture at the University of Utah, and realized he had found his home. Burke focuses on Recreation and Civic design, including the Salt Palace Expansion, Grand County Recreation Center and J.L. Sorenson Recreation Center.
